About Event Childcare
Event Childcare is a family run business, based in West Sussex.
It is owned by sisters Lucy and Sophia, from a staggering family of 13 including 28 nieces and nephews - being around children really IS in our blood!
Event Childcare have a solid team of hand-picked experienced, uniformed, childcare professionals who are paediatric first aid trained and DBS certified.
We come with years of experience, a wealth of knowledge and give 100% to every event.
Event Childcare have nannies that have full experience of working with children who have a range of additional needs.

Lucy is the Event manager and the real face of the business and will more than likely be the lead nanny on many of our Events.
Lucy has many years of experience with children, she has a spirited 12 year old daughter as well as many different roles working in Nurseries, nannying jobs, children’s homes and child minding. She also spent a year nannying for a private family in New York.
As well as working for Event Childcare, she also works in a special needs school, so she is very used to working with children of all ages and abilities.

Sophia is the Director of Event Childcare.
Sophia has spent a huge amount of time abroad, including being a live-in nanny in the USA.
If you call, email, or attend a wedding fayre it will be Sophia that you speak or deal with.
Sophia’s Background is mainly in Event planning and Event Management. If you are looking for something unique or inspiration on how to make your event different and even more exciting for the little VIP’s, she’s your girl!

2020 was the year that changed so much to so many. We are constantly watching to see what the World Health Organisation (WHO) are advising and recommending and we will adhere to all guideless to ensure safety at every event.
